POSITIVE EMOTIONS exhibition - extended!
Kunsthuis Gallery presents 50 selected National and International artists showcasing affecting work responding to the theory of Positive Emotions based on the theory Broaden and Build by Barbara Friedrickson.
The broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions suggests that positive emotions (enjoyment/happiness/joy, and perhaps interest/anticipation) broaden one's awareness and encourage novel, varied, and exploratory thoughts and actions. Over time, this broadened behavioural repertoire builds skills and resources.
